Loxone Tree Is Growing: New Devices for More Flexible Projects

Loxone is expanding its Tree ecosystem with new wired versions of devices previously available with Air technology. The latest additions, AC Control Tree, Modbus Tree and Hörmann Tree, give planners and installers more options when designing wired Loxone installations.

For new projects in particular, this means more functions can now be integrated directly into the Tree infrastructure.

AC Control Tree: Air Conditioning Becomes Part of the System

The new AC Control Tree brings air conditioning directly into the Loxone Tree ecosystem.

It supports air conditioning systems from a range of manufacturers, including LG, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Gree, Sinclair, Panasonic and Toshiba.

Once integrated, the air conditioning system can work together with other building functions and become part of the overall climate and energy management strategy.

For planners, the Tree version provides another wired option when designing climate control as part of a Loxone project.

Modbus Tree: Connecting Third-Party Devices

Modbus Tree makes it possible to integrate devices using a Modbus RTU interface into the Loxone system via Tree.

This opens up a wide range of applications. Heat pumps, energy meters, storage systems and other Modbus devices can be integrated without relying exclusively on centrally located interfaces.

For projects involving energy management, HVAC or other third-party systems, this gives planners more flexibility when deciding how devices should be connected throughout the building.

Hörmann Tree: Wired Garage Door Integration

The new Hörmann Tree provides a wired option for integrating compatible Hörmann garage door operators into Loxone.

Communication is bidirectional, allowing the system not only to control the door but also to receive its current status.

This makes it possible to include the garage door in other building functions and automations, including security and alarm scenarios.

The expansion of the Tree ecosystem gives electrical planners and installers more choice between wired Tree and wireless Air solutions, depending on the requirements of each project.
