Loxone Wall Display 10″: A New Way to Control Smart Buildings – Coming Soon to uplan
uplan team · 9 October 2026 · 2 min read

Loxone has introduced the Wall Display 10″, a dedicated touchscreen designed for controlling and monitoring smart buildings. From lighting and climate to access control and ventilation, the new display brings essential building functions together in one interface.
And there's more good news for electrical planners: the Wall Display 10″ is coming soon to uplan!

More Than Just a Wall-Mounted Tablet
Unlike a conventional tablet, the Loxone Wall Display 10″ is designed specifically for permanent installation and continuous operation.
It offers several advantages:
10-inch touchscreen: A central interface for controlling building functions.
Direct Loxone integration: Managed through Loxone Config and the Loxone App.
Flexible connectivity: Supports Tree Turbo, with Wi-Fi and LAN connection options via adapters.
Permanent power supply: No batteries to charge or replace.
Integrated intercom functionality: Communicate with visitors through the Loxone Intercom using the display's built-in microphone.
The result is a dedicated control panel that fits naturally into residential and commercial installations.
One Display, Different Applications
The Wall Display 10″ can serve different purposes depending on the building.
Smart homes: Control lighting, shading, room temperature and other automated functions from a central location.

Offices and commercial buildings: Provide convenient access to climate control, ventilation and building functions.

Hotels and multi-unit buildings: Offer an integrated interface for room controls and intercom communication.

The display can also provide a clear overview of building systems, making it useful for both everyday operation and technical monitoring.
What Does This Mean for Electrical Planning?
A permanently installed wall display needs to be considered early in the planning process.
Its location, power supply and connectivity all influence the electrical design. Whether using Tree Turbo or an alternative network connection, planning these requirements in advance helps avoid unnecessary changes during installation.
For Loxone planners, including control panels alongside other automation devices is an important part of creating a complete project.
Coming Soon: Wall Display 10″ in uplan
We're working on adding the Loxone Wall Display 10″ to the uplan device library.
Once available, you'll be able to include it directly in your Loxone project plans, alongside other devices and components.
Our goal is to make it easier to plan complete Loxone installations in one place, from device placement and wiring to documentation and quotations.
Stay tuned! The Loxone Wall Display 10″ is coming soon to uplan.
